John Lewis teams up with Age UK

The John Lewis advert has become something of a national institution over the last few years, it’s like their marketing department is purposely trying to get as many people to cry as possible.  However, it’s awesome – and this year the message is one that we should all listen to. 

They’ve teamed up with Age UK to try and help some of the million older people who will go for a month without speaking to anyone. A message from Friendship at Home: “We should all remember our elderly neighbours, family, and friends during the year, but particularly during the festive season. Please take at least a few moments to give them a call or better still, pop and spend some time with them. You know, that’s a great Christmas present”.
